Compost Bin

Overview

The Compost Bin is a Farming structure designed to create more efficient Fertilizer out of any type of Feces Feces and Thatch .

To begin the process, open the Compost Bin's Inventory screen. Add 50 Thatch along with a the Feces (see Notes). Leave the items in the Compost Bin for ~1-1 1/2 in-game days, and upon return, you'll find them consumed and replaced with Fertilizer.

Note that remove the minimum required amount of items from the Compost Bin before they've converted will reset the 'cooking' timer.

Notes

• The ARK community still has yet to confirm the exact amount of Feces required for Fertilizer, and if it differs depending on the type(s) you use. So far, 3 Medium Dinosaur Feces File:Medium Dinosaur Feces.png has been tested and confirmed. ^{[citation needed]}
